So, I've finally self-published my first eBook and it is up on Smashwords. I will be putting it up on Amazon soon too. It is available in various formats, including EPUB, HTML, PDF, RTF and is supported by Kindle. The book is called Pinky Promises and is available to download from here. The book is something that our own Es helped me in the early stages to get from a very rough draft and into what it is now. It is written in British English with British idioms, which made it much easier for me to write in. I also have other eBooks in the works and they will hopefully be available for purchase very soon - of course, I only work on them in my spare time and around Progeny: Angels and Demons. I'd love it if you would take the time to check it out. If you do, please consider leaving some feedback here. Thank you, Lexi

self-publishing is completely free and really easy to do. The only drawback is all the promotion is done by you and not by the publishing company. Of course, even publishing companies are now getting authors to do their own promotion because of the costs. I'd never get a short story published traditionally but I know Amazon offers a program to get it made into a physical book so going to look at that next.

The book is now available directly from Amazon. For those in the US click hereFor those in the UK click hereFor those in Germany click hereFor those in France click hereFor those in Italy click hereand for those in Spain click hereThose are all the options that Amazon gives me, so those in other countries, it depends on the currency that you want to buy in. All the European stores (except UK) offer it in Euros; the UK store offers it in pounds stirling; and the US store offers it in dollars. A paperback version is coming very soon. I just have to order my own copy to make sure it is laid out as it should be - and because my other half wants to see what I've been up to.

Congrats, Lexi. I did some advertising for you. I tweeted from two of my accounts (the third is just for Charmed comic stuff and has an extremely small follow base) and posted a link on my Facebook. Good luck!

I also have a second book out. It's been available for a few months now (I think I posted it in May/June). I'm making a new thread about that one but just thought I'd let you know here.
