Rose McGowan to appear in Nip/Tuck
Sources confirm to me exclusively Rose McGowan has replaced Sackhoff in the role of Theodora "Teddy" Lowe, a doctor and potential love interest for Sean (Dylan Walsh). The recast comes on the heels of news that Sackhoff has inked a deal to headline NBC's Dick Wolf-produced cop pilot Lost and Found, so it's probably safe to assume that a scheduling conflict led her to back out of the Nip/Tuck gig.

Rose McGowan Reveals Crazy Childhood Rose McGowan is well known by Charmed fans as playing baby half-sister Paige Matthews, but she is also known for her role in Scream and dating Marilyn Manson. However, nothing compares to the story that she told about her childhood. It turns out that while living in Italy, Rose McGowan’s parents were members of the Children of God. Members believe in preparing for the second coming of Jesus as well as the virtues of free love. While that doesn’t sound to out of the ordinary, there are other parts – mainly the relationships between children and adults. Rose was lucky that her father decided that the cult was not what he wanted for his children and left, taking Rose and her siblings with him. He feared that his daughter would be molested. Rose also states “I did not want to be like those women. They were basically there to serve the men sexually.” Rose continued to explain how it was not easy to adapt to the US way of life. “My brothers and sisters, we thought everyone was boring.” Rose says. Rose credits the way that she is to her upbringing, even though there were some horrors, “There are people who will read this story and think I had a strange existence,” she states. “I think they’ve had a strange existence.” Source: Today Entertainment

I don't share a lot about the news of the main Charmed actresses, but I think this one is important. One Wednesday Rose McGowan decided to stand up against sexism in Hollywood. It led to some debate over her "double standards" because of her past wardrobe choices, but I believe she did right in sharing the casting call. We're not going to get full equality, but that doesn't mean it isn't something worth fighting for. Now, Rose has been "fired" by her agency. She shares why on Twitter. This is from Inquisitr
