Caption Contest #1

Right, from now on I'm going to do regular competitions, especially with the summer and neither shows airing until September.

So here's the first contest. Rules are very basic, place a caption to the picture that I post here. On the 5th August I'll judge which is the best caption and then post another one.

So, the first one is one of Piper and Paige. Let's see what you guys can come up with.

[Chloe C]

Piper: You said you were going to your Aunt Paige's.
Paige: You told me you were going to be here.
Piper: Ok boys, where have you really been. I swear, if you've been drinking, you're in big trouble.
Wyatt: Actually mom...
Chris: We've been in the Underworld.
Henry: There was no alcohol, at all. We promise!
Piper: That's even worse. We told you no demons until you were 18!

(Sorta takes place in my Legacy Trilogy I'm cowritting with a friend, couldn't figure out anything to do with Progeny or A&D. Hope that doesn't go against me...

SCENE: HALLIWELL MANOR - ATTIC. Piper and Paige are in the attic, trying to find Patty, who has used her telepathy to channel Wyatt's power of invisibility. Melinda, Prue, and Wyatt are watching, with Wyatt holding Payton.

Piper: Patricia Laura Halliwell, get out here, now! I mean it, missy!
Paige: Piper, do you really think that's going to work. Remember, the mother of two six year olds. Hey, Patty, if you come out, we'll give you ice cream.
(A minute later, Piper looks at Paige)
Piper: You were saying, mother of two six year olds?
Paige: Well, it was worth a try.
(Suddenly, Paige's hair turns red. Piper raises an eyebrow, and then looks at Wyatt, who raises his free hand in defense)
Wyatt: Didn't do it, Mom.
Piper: Patty, I'm going to guess. Patricia, now, young lady!
(Paige notices she has red hair and scowls)
Paige: I hate it when she uses that dang telepathy.
Piper: Don't we all?
Prue: Here, let me try. Hey, Pats, if you don't come out, I'm going to tell Dad who really stole his ring when the twins came over and played dress-up.
(Patty appears, her dark eyes wide. She glares at her older sister)
Patty: You wouldn't!
Prue: Try me.
(Paige looks at Piper, shaking her head.)
Paige: Why didn't we think of blackmail in the first place?
Melinda: Cause we're really smart?
Prue: Or because no one thinks of blackmailing a six year old.
Paige: True. Very true...


LOL, completely suckish, but I had to try.

Contest #1 Results

Here are the results for my first caption contest:

1st Place (3 Karma points): Chloe - I really liked the idea of Paige and Piper telling their children, no demon hunting until their 18. It did make me laugh.

2nd Place (2 Karma points): Baley - It took me a while to read through it and get my head around it, but once I did, I liked it.
