My new year has started off extremely busy. I honestly thought I would have tons of time to write but at the moment all I've been doing is working, wedding plans and trying to sort everything out with the RAF.
For those that don't know, I've been trying to secure an entry date into the officer training for what seems like forever now! Every medical I have had booked seems to be cancelled for one reason or another. After making a few phones calls, I've managed to push myself on an already fully booked medical next week after explaining my last one had to be cancelled due to the weather conditions since I had no way to get there - roads were closed, buses/trains/planes were cancelled.
So, yeah, very busy and I've not had two minutes to sit and write anything!
I don't make resolutions since they always get broken so I just make changes as the year progresses and it's always things that I know I'll keep.

2011 has also been very busy for me so far. My dad had a triple bypass surgery the first week of January, so of course I was worried about him. He came through with flying colors; it will just take him awhile to totally recover.
Then our work is going to have one of their shows next week and I'm extremely busy with that. So when I get home I don't do much more than crash. Hopefully once it's over that will change, although then we're getting close to Valentine's Day and that's busy, too (I work for a wholesale florist) followed by another show in March, Easter in April and Mother's Day in May, our busiest day of the entire year! *sigh* I'm tired just thinking about it!
Hopefully the rest of you are all having good 2011s so far.
