i can not under stand how in season 2 prue, phoebe and piper went to the future and piper had a little girl but then further on in the show she only had chris and wyatt seen as prue was alive when they went to the future do you recon they actully ended up in 10 years in to the future in an alternate universe?

Ok, so my theory on it all was that they did really go to the future, no alternate universe involved. The whole thing with Piper and Leo ending up with two sons is that one little thing can change all events. I'm not entirely sure how Prue's death led to Piper have boys and not the little girl, but something must have happened.......(i don't think that actually made much sense)
The future isn't set in stone, is what I'm trying to say. The little girl was about seven or eight, too, if I'm right? I mean, she looked that old to me, which would have meant that Piper had her in 2001/2002, which could have caused the ripple effect in time.
Another little theory was could she have been pregnant during Shax's attack, since this little girl would have meant to have been born around the time that Prue died, and none of us knew about it?!?!?!?!?!? Maybe even Piper didn't know about it?!?!?!?!?
Anyway, that's my theory(s) but yours could also be right too, it's actually a very interesting one, the Elders really sent them to an alternate world....hm....you're making me think.

Ooo, alternate universe...that is really interesting. It's a shame the writers of Charmed didn't go into that a little more, you know, the whole reason Piper ended up have Wyatt rather than the little girl they all thought she was going to have. But it definitely shows the future isn't written in stone.

Well, you know what, I think she did have the little girl that she saw in the future, except, she had her late, after Wyatt and Chris, since in the last episode, u see her handing lunch to two boys and a girl.

Yeah but the question is why didn't she have the girl first? Why was Wyatt born first and then Chris?
