I just read some of the episodes. Haven't gotten through them all yet. So far, Angels and Demons is my favorite spin-off. I really haven't read Progeny yet.

Ok, I can't believe we had some similiar ideas for both of our spin-offs, different details but some ideas a little alike. I can't say because then it would spoil things.

Ok, but anyway, back on topic. I cannot believe you killed major characters! Now that was a shock! I hope somehow you bring them back. Sorry, but I love

Ryan and Melinda

together. And it was a really sad and tragic 1st season finale. The cliff hanger really left us waiting to see what's going to happen the next season.

It did remind me of the first seaon of Charmed when Andy died. It went to show that the siblings have a lot to overcome and deal with the deaths of their loved ones.

Anyway, I have to go finish moving boxes to our new house, I'll review more later. Thee may have been things I wanted to say but left out.

Cool, someone else who liked Ryan and Melinda together. I thought I was the only one on that front. I think that was one of the reasons why Lexi took Ryan out was because nobody seemed to warm to them, plus it really has put an awesome start to the second season, better way of introducing a certain character.

Oh and good luck with the house move, I know how difficult moving everything can be and making sure each box is placed in the right room! I forgot to label a few of my boxes, so that was fun when I realised some kitchen stuff was in my basement lol

I've just read the first two episodes and REALLY like them. I LOVE the way you write scripts, Lexi! I doubt if the rest of this will act as a spoiler, but just in case.

Here's what I wrote re: 1x01 Welcome to Miami

As usual with me, I'm not nuts on Wyatt and Chris and wish they'd stayed in New York. Just like their mother, they're much too powerful and upset the balance between the others. In fact, I wish you would write a prequel, showing what it was like in Miami before Wyatt and Chris showed up. I think it would be MUCH more interesting.

Either that or write an alternate universe of your alternate universe where both Wyatt and Chris die as kids, so that series is just about the other seven.

Also, you know me, Lexi--I'm not nuts over the idea of the Power of Three being cousins, and like the idea of the Power of Four or the Power of Five even less. The Power of Three is three SISTERS descended from Melinda Warren. So that should be Phoebe's three daughters with the others helping them. Especially because Phoebe's two daughters are my favorite characters so far, especially Pru, but Peyton, too.

BUT this is YOUR alternate universe with your own rules. As long as you stick with them and keep it consistent, I can accept that it's different here.

I LOVE that it's Aunt Prue who's ruffling the pages of the Book of Shadows rather than Grams! And the idea of the Demonic Bar (and the kids not trusting the Elders) and getting info that way. Especially with them using aliases to try to blend in. I wonder what will ever happen if the demons (especially Louis) finds out who "Sam and Chelsea" and their "friends" really are....

I love the fact that the Book of Shadows is still in the attic of the Manor, that neither set of kids have taken it with them. I've seen that done in a number of other spinoffs and it just doesn't hit me as right. I'm also glad that neither Piper or Leo made an appearance in this first episode--it puts too much emphasis on their family and there's already enough.

I like the powers that everyone has (well, except that Chris is half-Elder and Wyatt is the Twice-Blessed; wish you'd figured a way to change that before this started; it's what makes them too powerful) and their personalities.

But of all your characters, I especially love your original characters Ryan and Chloe. I love the fact that the half-manticore whose father Piper helped is now going with Piper's daughter. AND I love the fact that a GAL is taking Darryl's place and she used to be Wyatt's gal and she's turned her back on him! I would've preferred if she *was* Darryl's daughter or even Andy's niece (in a different series, her name is Andrea...), but this definitely works.

I LOVE Veritas; he makes a GREAT bad-guy, although I wish you would explain more what a Charitas demon is. Even tho Charmed had strange names for their demons, they always explained what the demon did.

And that ending!! OMG! OMG! OMG! FANTASTIC cliffie!!

For the heck of it, I decided to read the prose version of this. It's okay, but I definitely prefer the script form--all the action and none of the extra descriptions!

All-in-all, this series is off to a great start and I can't wait to read the next episode!

And here's my review for 1x02 Save the Last Elemental

I read the second episode and totally LOVE it! I *liked* the first one; I *love* the second one. I even like both Wyatt and Chris, which is very unusual for me. And I definitely like your Elemental, Steph! I continue to like all of the others, especially Pru, who is definitely my favorite, the reason I have her as my avatar.

I have read another series that star Chris and Wyatt (Destined: The Charmed Sons), but I already like yours better. Although your Wyatt is *very* similar to theirs (and SO much better than the Goody Two-Shoes Dork who we saw in "Imaginary Fiends" and "Forever Charmed ", their Chris is the typical Mr. Perfect who shows up in so many Charmed fics, so he annoys me as much as the one in S6 and "Someone to Witch Over Me" and "Forever Charmed", while after reading this episode, I really like your Chris. Also, that writer refuses to accept the fact that Piper had a daughter AND she has the cousins at LEAST 10 years younger than Wyatt and Chris, so as you can tell by the title, it's ALL ABOUT THE BOYS, while I totally enjoy your girls. Your Chloe is very much like their Andrea (my favorite character, so my avatar at that site), but their DJ is NOTHING like Ryan--theirs is a NUT!

You did a great job of wrapping up the story from Episode One, and I especially liked the fact that they let the Elemental do the vanquishing--perfect irony!

All-and-all, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and can't wait to read more!

As I said in the shoutbox - and I'm going to say it here for everybody to read - there was the idea of a prequel, but for now it has been put off. Chloe, a mod here and a friend of mine, was going to write it but life really has gotten in the way for her. She's left a lot of pieces of work undone which some I've chosen to take over but I don't have the time for all of it. If, or probably when, I have the time, I'll take over the prequel to A&D and write something for them, but that is very far into the future at the moment.

Thank you, I do know your dislike of the Power of Three not being three sisters, but I'm so glad that you decided to give A&D a chance anyway. Consistency will be kept, even with the stupid rules that Kernus made up - unless I find a way around them to change it back to what Constance started off with. But thank you so much for giving it a chance.

The demonic bar was an idea that I got from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I really loved having another place for them to go, but somewhere where Wyatt and Chris wouldn't be so happy about being around. I thought it would show the difference between the two boys and their sister, where Melinda is comfortable being there as long as she is with Ryan. Also, I couldn't stand the Elders so was trying to keep them out as much as possible - unfortunately with how things went going into S2 somethings had to be changed. I'll let you catch up before I give away any spoilers.

Yup, I decided from day one that the Book of Shadows would always stay in the Manor's attic. We saw in Forever Charmed that Piper still had it so why would it be moved? Chris has found a way to make an electronic form with various spells etc, that's not been completely explain - it was going to be in a prequel - but I did it to stop questions on why don't they have the BOS now. Henry and Pru can teleport and Melinda can with the use of potions so why move the BOS when it doesn't need to be? I'm glad you see it my way too

Thank you so much. Bringing in original characters are always very hard. People have different views on how characters should be and whether the Halliwells should act alone. I was really worried that people would turn around straight away and tell me to get rid of them.

I prefer my script versions too They're so much easier for me to write if I'm honest. Its how I started my writing.

I have been reading that, but I stopped a while ago because it took so long to update. I had to keep checking back to remind myself, which kind of annoys me in a way. Although, I will admit, that it was because of finding that series that I had the guts to post mine up here. For you to say that you enjoy mine better, that is so wonderful to say. Thank you so so much!

I have different views on all of this. To be honest, I hate the fact that Wyatt is the first born and wished it had been Melinda (or Prudence Melinda) which we've already spoken about. In the end, I had to have a daughter for Piper, I couldn't see her family complete without the little girl that she saw. As for the cousins, I didn't understand why the cousins would be so young. Phoebe wanted that little girl she kept seeing and knew she was running out of time to conceive her - a lot of PhoeME in there but its great to be able to use it for a positive argument - she would have started her family as quickly as possible! What you will see from me is that, in another series idea that I have that's not been written yet, I decided that Phoebe jumped straight to having her first two but then decided that it wasn't all about her and there was a four year gap between baby two and baby three. But that idea is still in the planning process.

Anyway, thank you so much for your reviews of the first two episodes and also for giving this series a chance. I really do hope you enjoy the rest of them as much as these two, but I'll take everything you say on board. You know me, I love reviews that have good *and* bad in them. Constructive critisism always helps me improve
