Cool, a new demon in town. Can't wait to see what Carly is up to. And more trouble for Chris through the police officers, that's all really great. I like the episode a lot. I didn't even mind Melinda, there was so much else going on that is much more important. Although, it gets kind of obvious that there is something going on between Nathan and Melinda. I'm just wondering one thing, how exactly did Henry bail Chris out. After all their was a witness and this man knew what Chris looked like.

Sorry for the hold up on my reviews. I've been busy with school and Sam and such. I'll read 2.10 and 2.11 this weekend.

Hey, don't worry about it. I know what its like with everything piling up, which is one of the reasons for the hiatus that I'm taking. I just need a break from this so I can get my uni work sorted and exams passed.

I just managed to read the last episode and was disappointed: Wjhere is the next part of this great episode? For some reason I really love the idea with the Fallen Angel. Not even Melinda could bother me. I liked the intimate moments between Chris and Sarah. Henry plays a bigger part again, what is always good for me, although, it seems like he is always the one getting hurt. Great start for this two part episode. I hope we get the second part before Christmas.

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you like the idea of the Fallen Angel, I've now used it in both shows As for the second part, it won't be up before Christmas. The date is somewhere on the board when Angels and Demons returns after the Christmas break. I decided to leave it on a cliffhanger.

So, you take your well deserved Christmas break. That's pretty unfair I have to say ;-) Especially now that I have so much time after finishing my diploma thesis. But I guess I just have to check out the third series "Bewitched" then. Have a merry Christmas and great holidays.

You know something, I haven't reviewed on her in a long long time! But Lexi, you do know what I think of the episodes anyway. Anyway, the cliffhanger for the episode was unfair. You could have at least finished the episode before you went on the break, you've left us all on the edge of our seats wondering what is going to happen.
Oh and Mona is right, it does always seem to be Henry who ends up getting injured. Are you doing that on purpose?

For me this break of the series had been really convenient because I finally managed to read some episode of Angels and Demons as I had decided to read until the end of Progeny first to begin with this one but hey, this was even better.
Now I came this far and finally found some time to review. I now will go back to Progeny to read the final episodes of that.
2x12 This second part was a great continuation. The only problem I had was understanding why Angelica isn¡¦t immune against everybody¡¦s magic anymore once Chris was able to use his powers against her. I see that Chris got out of his trance and even that his powers worked. But then again the girls¡¦ powers should have, too. Moreover pyrokinesis is a wiccan power as well, so why did Hannah¡¦s powers work? Apart from that I really enjoyed this two part episode.
2x13 Oh, this episode was so sad. It was a bit strange first when I found out that this episode was more about Nathan than the Charmed Ones. But I guess for some reason it was important to learn more about him. I think he is right. No mother should have to bury both of her sons. I really hope none of my children will ever join any military group. I mean I know we need them to protect our countries and so on but still. I can¡¦t really tell if I like Nathan. He¡¦s a bit too good maybe. But I guess he has to with being a whitelighter and so. Although, it¡¦s so obvious that he wants more from Melinda. It¡¦s almost annoying. You think, do something, buddy, or go to sleep. This was by far the most emotional episode ever since the one where Pru and Ryan died.
2x14 Okay, this had been done before in some other way in the original series and in this spin off but I still like it when they act all crazy from some magical ¡§infection¡¨. I¡¦m not sure if abstinence is a virtue along with chastity but I guess that¡¦s individual ;-) I didn¡¦t really believe that Sarah was hit by humility. I think the problem for me with her is that I still don¡¦t know her. Her characters seems to change. One day she is like a great demon fighter and knows so much than again she shall have not so much self confidence. I¡¦m not sure if anyone else feels that way with her. But for me it¡¦s hard to understand her role and character. If they had have the virtues in them a bit longer there maybe could have been some funnier moments as well. That was missing a bit.
2x15 After this episode I found out that I really can easily do without Melinda ƒº But I¡¦ve said that before. I think I made my point clear. This was kind of an episode to Ghost Whisperer. I was a bit confused: What happened to the demon that attacked Wyatt and Sarah and the athame? This sort of had no end or did I miss something. What I liked most was that the episode was really Henry centred which is a great change. He can have a much bigger part in the whole series. And he even met a girl, a new, interesting character. I can¡¦t wait to find out more about her. What I didn¡¦t really understand is how it worked in the end with the prom queen and her prince? Why did they move on finally? Apart from that I think it was kind of logical for Chris to move into Sarah¡¦s apartment where no Wyatt lives as well. It was an episode that was kind of different from all the others so far with almost no demonic activity. It was great to see what the witches are doing apart from vanquishing demons.
2x16 I can¡¦t say anything negative about this episode as I don¡¦t have enough knowledge about Egyptian mythology. Was Isis really the Goddess of Magic? I have no idea. I liked the idea. It was a tiny bit like the episode in the original series where the girls were the Greek Goddesses but only the idea to bring in Gods. Everything else was of course really creative and clever. Although, I have a bit of a problem to have any Gods treated like magical beings. Every God is a religious thing and I¡¦m not so sure if I like religion compared to magic although I¡¦m not a really religious person. It was an interesting episode. I can¡¦t say that I didn¡¦t like it but it was strange for me. I have one question, though. What did the Egyptian words mean, Chris used to summon Isis and can you speak Egyptian?
2x17 I have to say I didn¡¦t like this episode as much as some of the others I have read the lat weeks. It took too long to get in motion and for me it wasn¡¦t enough action. I¡¦m always glad to read about new magical beings you introduce. So, you used a Djinn instead of a genie that was clever but still. I wasn¡¦t captured by this episode like I was with some of the others. It was too slow and no real highlight. That Nathan is in love with Melinda was quite obvious for some time, so making it a big topic wasn¡¦t the most surprising thing. I see that you had to bring the officers in once more to kind of work that issue out. But I had almost forgotten about them anyway. I hadn¡¦t needed a solution to that problem right now. I understand the reason for this episode (to clarify Nathan¡¦s in love and the police will back off) but I had loved to see that in another more exciting and surprising way and with more action. I don¡¦t know what it was but this is not one of my favourite episodes and it is sad that I now have to stop reading on this until I have read the last episodes of the other show. But luckily I read the episode guide for this one ¡V I usually never read it as I like to be surprised ¡V and now I know that Sarah is going to die and I can¡¦t wait to read that, so I can forgive this one episode that wasn¡¦t my taste. I¡¦m sure I will like the rest even more now.

THanks for all the reviews. I'm really sorry I haven't had a chance to get back until now and I haven't really got time to leave a detailed thank you.
All I can say is that I know there hasn't been much drama, especially in episodes like the Djinn one, but I didn't think some of them needed that much action. I have been building up to the final episode though so I hope you enjoy that one when you get a chance to read them.
Again, thank you for the reviews, the good and the bad.

I finally read the last episodes of this season. I would have earlier but my eyes weren’t on my side again, so I stopped reading until it got better. It was a lot going on in those last episodes.
I always enjoy the one with ghosts involved. It’s often sad but I like that. It’s not about violence and killing and vanquishing demons but helping someone at the end of their life. I love the tales of King Arthur, Merlin and Avalon. I read all the books. Luckily, I have been working in a book store. I don’t really like that they used it in Charmed by bringing back Excalibur for Wyatt. But of course when you write any kind of spin off you have to use that (I do, too, in my stories). It’s easy to use as you don’t have to explain too much; people know what’s going on from the original series. Your final still was about demons but those were only secondarily as any demon could have stolen the sword. I think if you had Wyatt become closer with Carly the whole show down would have been more dramatic. But it was really good, anyway. It was a great way to have Excalibur in the focus of the series. But seriously, why a new Lady of the Lake? Wyatt has the sword now; there is no need for a Lady of the Lake. Moreover, there still is Piper. Why not keep her. She’s the mother; after all, she’s a powerful witch and a good person. The Lady of the Lake uses to protect the sword when it’s owner dies and keeps it with her until a new heir is born and she can pass it on. So, with Wyatt around it is his job as the heir to now protect the sword. Moreover, the Lady of the Lake is not meant to fight with Excalibur. She’s a servant for the sword, not a reign over it. King Arthur was given the sword to fight for his kingdom. It was given to him for his kind way of reigning Britain with goodness unlike every other king before him. See, I’m not saying I don’t want Melinda to be the Lady of the Lake (although, her role is getting bigger and bigger). I just don’t understand the need for a new Lady of the Lake. Maybe you needed that for the dramaturgy. But then again, you could still keep Piper. The demons could have just as well been after her. And I think it had been logical if the kids went to see their parents for advice before such a big fight. Piper, Phoebe and Paige still have been the Charmed Ones. I think that is something that is often left out in this series. As well as the other cousins and the rest of the family. That just develops from the fact that this plays in Miami and there is a distance but there shouldn’t be an emotional distance.
Now, after reading the whole season I have only one negative thing to say. I hope I can say it right. I don’t want to be offending.
From the beginning on this season – for me – was way too much focused on and around Melinda. Now, you know, I don’t like her and with the last few episodes it didn’t get better. So, maybe I’m the only one feeling this way. But on the other hand her action throughout this season only proofed to me that she is selfish, spoilt, sometimes childish and kind of weak emotionally, what makes her a dislikeable character for me. Moreover, for this personality her powers are way too strong. I don’t think she’s such a great, responsible witch as it is usual for the Halliwells. She puts her own needs before everyone else’s. I think that in the flashbacks you showed it got obvious that Melinda was preferred even as a child. That’s something I can not understand. Piper and Leo went through so much when Wyatt was little and after Chris had already once hated his father, I just don’t see them threat their children differently and the age difference is no reason. I really fear this series is going to become a one man show, or one woman show in this case. Everything that happens and the actions and reactions of every character seem to be surrounded about Melinda. And everyone seems to only care about her well being and that nothing happens to her. I hope you get me right, I totally love Angels&Demons but for me the other characters only seem to be under parts. I have a hard time to understand the personalities of the other persons because they aren’t shown enough apart of as loving brothers or caring cousins towards Melinda. There has to be more about them. And I know that you can develop characters really well. Maybe there is a chance it’ll happen here, too. Maybe next season? Although, I kind of fear that next season will be a lot about Nathan’s and Melinda’s relationship. It was obvious from the beginning that those two would end up together one way or the other. But that makes me wonder even more about the ridiculous way she behaved at the beginning of the story. She either loved Ryan so much that she would go crazy and leave her family and everyone behind worrying or she is open to anybody else. A year is not long for grieving. I’m not saying that she shouldn’t have another lover eventually. But that makes me not liking her even more. Sorry, this shouldn’t have become a review on the character Melinda. But as she plays such a big role there is no chance in not having to deal with her and I have problems with that. So, sometimes I have so much fun with an episode and suddenly she turns up and makes the emotions that were built up through the drama swift. As I said it is possible that only I feel that way. I totally admire the many great ideas you have. You wrote 44 episodes and never repeated yourself. That is amazing and I love the many ideas you have, the demons you create and the characters you describe. I understand the amount of work that is behind all that and therefore I feel bad to say something negative. I mean you spend your free time to entertain people and I always think that if someone doesn’t like what I write he or she should just stop reading. But with this spin off, it is so great. It is so well written that it feels like watching the show on TV. So, maybe you think about my words and maybe next season the importance and the appearances of the characters will be more balanced. They are all so great, especially your Henry and Wyatt, the people we don’t know from the original series. It’s sad I still don’t know them after two seasons. I don’t need to like Melinda. It’s okay for me to not like a main character but of course it gets hard to read if this character then becomes the centre of a story. This series even more than Progeny brings up emotions while reading but I think after this season I have to say Progeny is my number one spin off. The family has a greater part there and characters are more equal. Still, if I didn’t care about Angels and Demons I wouldn’t have sat down to type this review. I hope you haven’t fallen asleep reading. Thanks a lot for the many great, dramatic, funny and exciting episodes.

Phew! I've finally managed to get the time to sit down and reply. Honestly, I do love to hear your reviews on the show since I hear an honest opinion. I know I write this for fun but if everybody loved everything then it would get a little monotonous. I like to hear what people think I can improve on. Sometimes I can disagree but I do like constructive critisism.
First of all, I'm really sorry that you still don't like Melinda. What I wanted was to show that not everybody is perfect and that people do think of themselves. Melinda is one of those people. Just because she's a witch and had some amazing powers, that doesn't mean that she is going to be selfless and always think of others first. Some people are naturally selfish and she's just one of them. I want characters that aren't always perfect, otherwise it would be far too unrealistic. I'm not sure if nobody else dislikes her character, there are only you and Es that give me truely honest reviews and Es hasn't caught up yet so I'll just have to wait and see.
The story with Excalibur, I didn't actually write the episode where it was all to do with the history and the past lives, that was Matthew, and I was getting my information from him. There are that many stories about King Arthur that I never know where to start looking or which one to go with so I asked him, since he loves King Arthur, and got his opinion on how it should go. I always planned on giving Melinda a large roll since this season has been mainly about her (even though I've tried to keep it about all of them). I needed to wrap up Melinda's destiny so that next season I can concentrate on Wyatt, Chris and Henry.
Don't worry, season 3 isn't going to be all about Melinda and Nathan, they are going to be there for bits and pieces of course, but it won't centre around them. I have Bianca back and there's also Wyatt and Tina. I still have to decide about Henry too.
Melinda hasn't moved on completely. She is still madly in love with Ryan, he was her first love and he'll always have a place in her heart but she knows that she can't let life pass her by and this chance that she has to be with an angel. Nathan helped her through a lot and it made sense for me to put the two of them together, in fact right at the start that wasn't in the plans, i was just going to kill him off, show up as a Whitelighter to say goodbye and then move on, but I liked the idea of him sticking around. She doesn't love Nathan yet, she just wants to give it a chance and see where it could go. Who knows, I may take him out of it, I may even take her out of it. I'm keeping things as unpredictable as possible at the moment, I don't want to give away too much.
Like I've said, I don't mind the negative, its something I can work on. Of course, some things I don't want to because I want to keep Melinda the way she is. I know some people don't like her that way, but I want a difference in all the characters.
Thanks so much for taking the time to review so much, I really do appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply. Well, as I said it's not too bad if I don't like a main person. It only gives me another perspective, I guess. No one is perfect and the characters don't have to be perfect, negative sides just make them more real. I think the main problem I have is the reaction of the other characters towards it. I really hope you will put the other characters more in focus as you developed some great people there. If you ever have time read some stories of King Arthur. Thomas A. Barron has written a series of books about Merlin. I totally love them. It's awesome what you can do if this saga. Much better than what they did in Charmed. At least you have an excuse to have Melinda in the center of the season and give her such an important role I still don't have to like it. But it's your project. I'm already curious what changes and events you plan for the third season.

I really love the stories and I cannot wait for more. I agree with what Likestorieshad to say about Melinda, about her running away. But I love your stories and cannot wait for what is to come with all the characters... Cannot wait!! ;D :)

Ok, so I know a lot of people have a problem with the fact that Melinda ran away and I understand that, she did act very very selfishly, but what I will say is that everybody acts differently with grief. In Charmed, Piper spent months trying to bring Prue back while Phoebe accepted that it had to happen. In Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy ran away when she killed Angel while when Buffy died, Xander and Willow continued to fight while Dawn just tried to live. Dawn also tried to bring her mom back after her death. I want to show that there are different ways to deal with grief. Melinda's way was to run away - a very selfish way - while all Chris wanted was revenge for Sarah's death. In Season 3 you'll see properly how Chris is dealing with grief - since if you remember he's got his memories of the other timeline so he had dealt with grief before.
Like I've said before, your opinions mean a lot to me, but I just needed to justify why I had Melinda run away.
